Obama gave a great speech for our children but look at who is in his administration–it is past time to wake up to the lies!!!

He has said he looks forward to the day when “promoting homosexuality” in schools will be seen in a positive light, while others at a recent conference sponsored by his organization wants to expose kindergartners to lessons on pro-homosexuality.
GLSEN leaders sees the way to change next generation’s attitude toward homosexuality requires must start in kindergarten. Jaki Williams, a GLSEN activist and teacher at the Packer Collegiate School (in New York), children at that age are “developing their superego,” and “that’s when the saturation process needs to begin.”

Some administrators said the best way to handle problems with parental opposition was simply to avoid them and not send letters to parents but for ed teachers to act independently and just go ahead and incorporate the pro-homosexual materials.

“A child has…been screwed by the educational system if they are not actively…helped to see the glory of diversity as part of the classroom experience,” said Terry Boggis, cofounder and director of Center Kids, a lobbying group for “LGB” (lesbian, gay, bisexual) families. Read complete article!

God didn’t suggest that we teach our children His statutes. He commanded us to do this. Failure to do this brings dire consequences. Life itself will not go well with us, nor for our children. Our days on this earth will be shortened.

Instead of teaching our children God’s commandments our culture is teaching them that evil is good and good is evil. For example, in California recently, a bill was introduced that would require students in public schools be taught a “positive” attitude about homosexuality. Romans 1:26-32 emphatically teaches that God has not ordained homosexuality. God hates sin, but loves the sinner. When mankind changes the truth of God into a lie and whenwe do not like to retain God inour knowledge, God givesus over to a reprobate mind which leads to a searing of our conscience (1 Timothy 4:1-3). Once this happenswebecome so hardened thatwe cannot tell the difference in right and wrong.This is multiplied by millions, thus creating a culture that promotes evil and demotes good.

Violence becomes more rampant. Pedophilia becomes acceptable. Children are no longer revered as gifts from God. Each generation becomes more suceptible to even more degenerate life styles. When this happens persecution of those who still stand for righteousness becomes a part of our society.

All it takes is confession and repentance to turn this around. Ninevahwas spared from total destruction and given an additional hundred years when they heeded Jonah’s warning and repented in sackcloth and ashes.

America was founded on godly principles. Our founding fathers’ intention for this nation was for us to be God-fearing people. As long as we kept God in our homes, schools and government we were blessed. Now that we are turning our backs on Him, we are seeing calamities that this nation has never experienced before. God has promised to bless any nation who honors Him, but destruction comes upon those who turn away from practicing the laws and commandments that He has given us.

Let us return unto the Lord and He will deliver us from the hands of our enemies. We have been blessed as a nation because we love the Lord. Now that love is waxing cold. What can we expect in return?

We must teach God’s laws to our children and our grandchildren. The future of this nation lies with them.

Amazing…I taught Vacation Bible School just recently and realized a deep and awesome truth.

At first I did not want to volunteer–more or less because I was already so very busy, another fear the kids may not like me.  I didn’t get to decorate my room before VBS started but how wonderfully God provided me a co-helper who made things so easy that I was able to decorate and study the lessons hours  before the children came to my room.  Each nite I was able to decorate with what was pertinent to the study for that particular lesson.

There was one child that I thought I may have a problem with and may end up not cooperating.  But again God helped me and that child was there every night and came out of her shell by the end of the week–and how it lifted my heart.

The story of Peter trying to walk on water really stirred them.  I had a makeshift boat they sat in while they listened to the story.  They paid particular attention to how when Peter took his eyes off Jesus–he started to sink.  I believe they got the importance of keeping your eyes focused on Jesus amidst the storms and how important that will be when they go through their own storms in life.

Three children out of about ten at the end of that week said they were ready right then and wanted to invite Jesus to be their Savior and Lord.  It was so amazing as at the beginning of the week I wasn’t sure they were paying attention but God’s Word is true–it does not return void.

Tonight I was just reminiscing about how much I love my family and realized I love those children too.   In a way I was sad to love so many because when you love you can also hurt for those you love.  Then I thought about our Heavenly Father and how big must his heart be to love all of us  and how great the pain can be.  Then I remembered a song–How Deep The Father’s Love For Us–the words ring true (see words below.)

How his heart must have hurt for the death of Iranian Neda Soltan more than I hurt as I watched it on youtube for the first time.  Then I also remember the greatest pain must have been when He gave his only Son to die on the cross.  But Jesus death meant saving “undeserved” grace for me and you and God knew his Son would rise again and he did.

There is a lot of suffering in this world but someday it will all be over.  Sufferings in Sudan, North Korea and now Iran amongst many others.  My prayer is those who do not know the only One that saves– will seek him.  Thank God for his word and I remember indelibly how God gave me his word for City On A Hill Prayer Journal.  When I asked him for a scripture for it–I turned the page on a brand new Bible and it opened to Matthew 7:7.  I believe with all my heart because I have seen it come true–He answers and gives you Hope for another day…also He give you JOY…amidst the troubles…Indeed He is our shelter and His mercy is everlasting upon those that fear him.

He hears even the simplest prayer–so say it even when you don’t feel like it and ask God to help  you when your hurting. Ask him to calm you when inside everything maybe churning–like a boat in a storm–then be amazed.

Hope you know him as a sheep knows the Shepherd and they know his voice.  If you don’t have Bible I pray you will find one and seek after Him from whom all blessings flow…….The Father’s Love IS Deep!!!

Creation vs Evolution

Rob Carter, the Creationist Speaker, quoted George Ward an evolutionist and a Nobel Prize winner as saying “There are only two possible explanation as to how life arose–spontaneous generation arising to evolution or supernatural creative act of God– there is no other possibility.”  Spontaneous generation was scientifically disproved 120 yers ago by Louis Pasteur and others but that just leaves us with one other possibility–that life cameas asupernatural act of creation by God butI can’t accept that philosophy becauseI do not want to believe in God therefore I choose to believe in that which I know is scientifically impossible–spontaneous generation leading to evolution.

And this mindset is prevalent in our schools of learning today as most stifle debate.

You go back to the Declaration of  Independence, one of the basic things about the Declaration which is called our Organic Law is the statementthat ‘we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal- endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights among these are life liberty and the pursuit of happiness’.

In other words the part that we are created is part of our Organic Law- when the SupremeCourt start to take that away –Edward vs Aguillard case out of Louisiana in 1987– they said you couldn’t teach creation any more and basically they have altered the very basis of our society and they’ve taken away the thing Jeffersons saysis the truth.

Because Jefferson quoted in his Billfor Religious Freedom ‘…and finally, that truth is great and will prevail if left to herself; that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate.’

Thomas Jefferson envisioned a learning institution as a great source for improving the American mind and governing the nation. This was in his letter to an English reformer Jefferson states it “will be based on the illimitable freedom of the human mind.  For here we are not afraid to follow the truth wherever it may lead, nor to tolerate any error as long as reason is left free to combat it.”

Our great halls of learning should be thus but today most are truly afraid to follow truth and they hide under the term of not offending someone else–the true offense is against the future of this nation and the legacy for our children. It is time to make your stand for the truth thatkeeps men free. Thank God for the wisdom of the Founding fathers who humbled themselves before Almighty God and sought his help to form this great nation. Let us help keep it the land of the free–let truth and freedom ring.
